Newcomer & Refugee Resettlement Support

Helping You Start Strong in Canada - With Care, Compassion & Community

At Global Helper’s Foundation, we understand the challenges that newcomers and refugees face when starting a new life in Canada. Our Resettlement Program is here to offer guidance, practical support, and a welcoming hand - all without any government funding, run entirely on a volunteer and self-help basis.

Whether you're a newly arrived immigrant, refugee, or asylum seeker, we're here to help you navigate your journey with dignity, clarity, and care.

💼 What We Offer:

Starting a new life in a different country can be overwhelming-especially when language barriers, unfamiliar systems, and lack of community support create added stress. At Global Helper’s Foundation, we are dedicated to easing this transition for immigrants and refugees by offering hands-on, compassionate assistance every step of the way.

We help individuals and families navigate the Canadian system by providing personalized support with:

  • Immigration forms (PR renewal, work permits, sponsorship)

  • Translation help and document filling

  • Commissioner for Oaths and Notarization services (coming soon)

  • Applying for government-issued IDs (Provincial ID, SIN, Health Card)

  • Accessing public healthcare, education, and settlement services

  • Understanding and filing taxes, and applying for benefits like CCB, GST/HST, and housing support

  • Registering children in schools and daycare

  • Learning their rights and responsibilities as residents or future citizens

  • Getting connected to language classes, job training, and community resources

  • Accessing mental health services and legal aid if needed

Whether someone has just arrived in Canada or has been here for a while but is still unsure how to access services, we stand beside them with respect, clarity, and culturally sensitive guidance-ensuring no one feels left behind.
